New Year’s Day at Phantom Canyon
Had a great time at Phantom last night with my nephew (Chris, age 14) and husband. We headed to the 2nd floor pool area, where they allow kids until 6:00 p.m. We enjoyed the barley wine, trout, chicken and a salmon salad. Chris liked my Flip camera, which he used to take the photo above. He and I share a passion for photography & video making. I gave him my old Sony DV camera yesterday. Can’t wait to see Colorado Springs through his eyes.

Great Harvest in Colorado Springs by Taa Dixon
Bought Tuscan Herb and the last Pumpkin Yumpkin today at my favorite local bread shop. This place rocks and I highly recommend it. Always fresh, free samples and a friendly staff.
