How to get to the Crags trailhead:
From Colorado Springs, take Highway 24 through Woodland Park to Divide, Colorado. Drive south from the Divide traffic light about 4 miles until you come to the Rocky Mountain Camp sign. The Crags Campground is about 5 miles up a sort of rough road and in the upper end of the campground is a small parking lot for the Crags Trail trailhead. The trail winds uphill for 2 or 3 miles. At the top you can see into Colorado Springs and vistas to the north and west. A round trip on the trail can be done in as little as 2 hours or you can linger through the day.
